Hi and welcome! My name is Karen and my practice is located in SW Portland, Oregon. I offer all 4 possible types of electrology treatment. I am so passionate about this PERMANENT way to help others live with more confidence, authenticity, and peace in their body! My goal is to do this in the safest, most comfortable way possible while simultaneously being as effective as I can at treating unwanted hair.
Types and areas of treatment
Electrolysis is safe for all external areas of the face and body! The treatment of Electrolysis was invented in 1875 and originally used to for treatment of ingrown eyelashes! Owch!
We can treat and shape eyebrows, permanently remove hair from the chin, upper lip, neck, treat ingrown hairs, sideburns, ears, hairline, and jawline. It's also safe and effective for arms, underarms, chest, abdomen, back, shoulders, bikini line, legs, feet, genital regions, and bum!
As mentioned above, I offer all 4 possible types of Electrology - Electrolysis, Thermolysis, the Blend method, and Flash Thermolysis - and will choose the best method for your skin and hair during your consultation and subsequent treatments.
Health, Safety, and Sanitation
We adhere to the highest protocols of safety, health, sanitation, and sterilization to insure the health and safety of ourselves and our clients.
Each probe used in the treatment of electrolysis is single use and comes individually wrapped and fully sterile. All tools used in the treatment are also maintained with proper sterilization standards. We sanitize and disinfect all other instruments according to State Regulations.
We are currently allowing our patients the ability to be mask-optional during treatment. If a support person is attending we ask that they mask up, and that all parties who are feeling unwell reach out to get rescheduled. All providers are fully vaccinated, and will be masking during all work close to the client's face. As well, we are happy to wear a mask if the client feels more comfortable with it during any other type of treatment.
